Roulette Probability – The Truth About Roulette

roulette sniper

One of the most important tools in roulette that will surely help players in their betting patterns is the knowledge of roulette probability. Under roulette probability statistical data express in percentage figures shows the scenario of each bet relative to their chances of winning. In other words what is the chance of each bet winning on each spin?

Shock and awe will surely greet players upon knowing some of the bets probability. A good example of this is roulette single number bet or better known in roulette parlance as straight-up bet, this bet has a probability of 2.63% chance of a win! While even money bets such as a color bet, odd and even bet and high and low number bets has 46.37% chance of winning under the American roulette. This probability goes even higher in European roulette as this type of roulette having a solitary zero.

Let us go back to our example of a single number bet, players should be aware on how to use its probability and payout ratio in your betting patterns. These way players are guided on when and how to bet on single number bets. Timing is the key element for players who adamantly wager on this hard to win single number bet.

Taking number 25 for our single number bet in this scenario and knowing that single number bets has a ratio of 1:37 and 2.63% winning probability players are urge to wait and see the outcome of each spin for some time before betting. What do I mean by this? Taking into account the past results of spins numbering about 20-25 it can be ascertain if number 25 came out a winner or not. If the answer is in the negative then the use of roulette probability ratio comes into play.

Single number bets is pegged at 37-1 ratio meaning for every 37 spins the chance of your number to win is one but there is still a possibility of only winning once in over 37 spins, anywhere from 40-55 spins. This is where timing of bets in applied. Assuming 25 is still waiting to be announced by the croupier for the past 27 spins, the likelihood of being declared winner increase if we base it on probability for it has to win within 37 spins. Betting on the 28th spin gives players much room to play for a win at number 25. And the net income on such bet is much higher especially if number 25 comes out somewhere on the 45-65 spins. What is great here is players can bet on 3-5 numbers as long as they keep tract of results of 25-30 spins before placing any bet. Capital exposure is much less on this betting pattern with the use of roulette probability.

Where To Play Roulette

roulette sniper

If you’ve been playing roulette online for a while and were wondering if there might be some better or more interesting places to play the game online, then I guess you’ve come to the right place. There are a whole slew of online casinos that offer video roulette, and depending on what you’re after you should find something that suits your tastes.

As far as the actual gameplay is concerned, you won’t find any differences apart from the fact that some host American roulette and some host European, though if you can I always advise you stick to European roulette because you get much better odds than with the American version.

If you haven’t yet checked it out, I always recommend you seek out Casino-On-Net just because I think it has one of the simplest gameplays out there and one of the prettiest and most functional interfaces and is generally simple enough to be used by just about anyone. It’s also by far the biggest casino online today so you’ll never ever have to worry about them running dodgy software or ripping you off, they get audited and checked more than anyone does.

Also with Casino-On-Net, they’ve got a Ladies gambling area all decked out in horrible amounts of pink if you’re so inclined to immerse yourself in a lavish cyan world. There’s nothing different about the general gameplay, apart from the fat it’s all pink and white. Go figure.

If you’re an American however, you won’t be able to login to either of those casinos as they ban American players due to the gaming laws in your country.

Another nice casino that runs well, looks good and actually accepts Americans is Rushmore Casino. This one has been a favourite of mine for quite some time and I’ve made a lot (and lost a bit) of money while gambling there, though I always seem to go back.

But if it’s total winning power and fairness you’re after, go for BetFair as it’s the only casino I know of in existence that doesn’t have a house edge on their roulette tables. That’s as good an excuse to gamble at a casino that I’ve ever heard in my life.

How To Beat Roulette By Increasing Your Odds

roulette sniper

In this article I will be going over some ways that you can increase your odds in roulette – which can actually be done – however this isn’t a way to increase your odds so much that they’re actually better than the casino. That is extremely hard to do without cheating.

When it comes to casino games, Roulette has one of the highest odds of you losing and the casino taking away your money. This is because of the naughty little 0 slot on the roulette wheel in European roulette, as well as the 00 slot which appears in American roulette.

Because of these numbers, the casino has a 2.7% edge over you in European roulette and a massive 5.4% edge over you in American roulette. In simple terms, this means that for every $100 bet on any roulette table anywhere in the world, the casino will make $2.70 in European roulette and $5.40 in American roulette. This may not initially sound like a lot, however when you consider that literally millions of dollars can be spent in a single casino in one day, it sure adds up – for the casino that is.

So the first tip I have for you is to never, and I mean never, place a bet on an American roulette table. You are doubling your odds of losing if you do. If you’re not sure of how to spot the difference in an American and European roulette tables, just look for the green slots in the wheel. An American wheel will have two green slots numbered 0 and 00, while a European roulette wheel will only have one green slot numbered 0. This is what you need to look for.

My next piece of advice is to never ever bet on single numbers. While you can make a lot more money if you win a bet placed on a single number as it will pay out 36-to-1 (meaning a $1 bet will win $36), the odds of this happening are are 37-to-1 when you take into account the zero, which means on average you will win only once every 37 spins.

You should be betting mathematically and strategically, an never betting on ‘feelings’. Just because you have a ‘feeling’ the number 24 is going to come up on the next spin, doesn’t mean that it will. Most likely, it won’t and you will have thrown the bet away.

Always bet on large sections of the board like the red or black sections, or on thirds of the board, This will enable you to cover huge chunks of the numbers without betting on them individually. And when you do this, stick to one section and continually bet on that section without stopping. Casinos rely on people jumping from one place to another betting with their ‘feelings’ in order to take their money, so this is what we must not do.

Other than this, there is nothing really that can swing the odds in your favour except all-out cheating, or by checking out the guide on my website. I guarantee you that it’s about the only mathematically proven way out there to do this.

American Versus European Roulette – The Differences Explained

roulette sniper

Roulette is quite a simple game once you know how to play it, and generally no matter where you go in the world (or the online world) you won’t find anything differences about the way that it’s played – well, except for one.

There are two main types of roulette; American and European roulette. Both games are played in exactly the same way by spinning a small white ball around a spinning wheel with numbers. The only difference in the game itself is in the variation of the numbers themselves which I’ll go into now.

In European roulette, you the wheel has thirty-seven numbers. The numbers 1 to 36 in either red or black, and the number zero, all on its own in green. The zero on the European roulette wheel gives the casino its house edge, which works out to be 2.7% over the player in this case.

With American roulette, you have thirty-eight slots this time, but still only have the standard numbers between 1 and 36. The other two slots are taken up by the zero and double-zero (00) slots which are both house-edge spots on the wheel. In this case because the casino has twice as many green slots, their house edge is raised to 5.4% over the player which is a huge margin in the long run.

So really that’s it. There isn’t much in the differences between American and European roulette apart from the zeros giving the casino its edge, and now that you know this, you also know to stay away from American roulette tables, right?

How to Read the Roulette Board

roulette sniperMany players do not understand the nuances of the roulette board. There are subtle differences between the types of wagers and their associated odds and expectations. Unfortunately, the casinos make the worst bets appear to be the most attractive.

The board on roulette is divided into two general categories of wagers. The first are called outside bets. The spaces for these wagers are all outside the perimeter of the board. It is relatively simple to decipher how these wagers work.

One outside bet is red or black. Players wager on the number coming up being one color or the other. Another outside bet is odd or even which similarly is wagering whether the winning number will be an even number or an odd one. Both of these bets play even money although the odds of them happening is a little less.

Another outside bet is placing a wager that the number will be between 1 and 18. The corresponding alternative wager is that the number will be between 19 and 36. Both of these wagers also pay even money. Those also have odds of occurring of a little less than 50%.

There are another class of outside bets called “dozen bets”. One can wager on the number being between 1 and 12, or 13 and 24, or between 25 and 36. This basically splits the numbers above 0 into 3 groups. Each of these wagers pays two to one.

Another category of wagers are called inside bets. This involves either betting a single number or small group of numbers. These bets have much higher pay offs, but some have much worse odds. Pay outs vary by casino, but most pay 35 to 1 if you pick the single winning number.

Boards with European roulette have one green number which is the 0. Boards with American roulette have two green spaces one being 0 and the other being 00. This creates a subtle difference in odds between the two. The European version is slightly more advantageous to the player.

Most players use emotion and guesswork to select their wagers. Smart players have flocked to an alternative. They are now utilizing sophisticated strategies devised by cutting edge software. This can prove to even the odds which are always tilted in the casino’s favor.
